Weaning for puppies
During weaning, at about 1 month old, transition from maternal milk to dry food must be progressive. Kibbles are mixed with the same volume of water or warm milk suitable for puppies. During 2 weeks, kibbles rehydration is gradually reduced till exclusive distribution of dry food. Daily ration is then given through 3 meals per day ; this way of administration guarantees the freshness of the food, allows to check dog’s appetite, and avoids spoiling the food.
